Globe Trading Company.

Later in my college career, I took a plein air landscape drawing & painting class, which really impacted my artwork. By creating onsite in real time, I was able to fully experience and choose what to focus on, in an almost a travel-based, sightseeing kind of way. This was from a trip to Chene Park, inside the then-abandoned Globe Trading Company building. It’s now a beautifully converted DNR education and resource center on the Detroit Riverfront.
